    Cheese crisps chips

These baked cheese crisps are crispy, flavoursome and very filling. You can serve them as a snack or as a low carb appetiser. I make this cheese chips recipe with cheddar but you can also use parmesan.

These cheese crisps chips are delicious alone or you can enjoy them with dips such as guacamole or salsa. They only require a few ingredients and you can have them whipped up in less than 15 minutes. So next time you’re looking for a quick low carb snack then give this recipe a try.

Ingredients for Low Carb Cheese Crisps

Please find the full list of ingredients and quantities in the recipe card at the end of the post.

    • Cheese - I use cheddar cheese for the recipe but you can also use parmesan or a mixture of the two.
    • Sesame seeds - use sesame seeds that have not been roasted or toasted.
    • Chives - use dried chives for this recipe to make the cheese crisps crispier.

How to Make Low Carb Cheese Crisps

    1. Preheat the oven to gas mark 3/325oF/170oC/150oC fan and line a baking sheet with baking paper.

    2. Grate the cheese then add it to the baking tray in small heaps. Leave enough room between them for them to spread.

    3. Sprinkle the sesame seeds and chives on top of each pile and bake in the oven for around 9 minutes. Once baked, allow to completely cool on the baking tray before enjoying alone or with some dip.

    Recipe Tips

    • Try not to let the edges burn as burnt cheese can be quite bitter.
    • Allow these cheese crisps to completely cool before enjoying them as they become crispier the longer they are out the oven.
