Hi, I'm Andrea and I would like to welcome you to my food blog. I am a mother of 2 girls and I live in London which is where I was born. I have a strong passion for cooking and baking which resulted in me starting this blog.
As a child I spent lots of time in the kitchen with my mother, watching and observing. After a while, I started getting involved with preparing dinners for the family and by the time I became a teen, I was cooking meals for my family with some supervision from my mum.
On this blog, I share a range of recipes that I regularly prepare at home. Flavours are important to me so all my recipes whether cooking or baking will be delicious and full of flavour. I share recipes that are easy to follow and easy to prepare. When I occasionally share complicated recipes, I usually include pictures of the steps to help keep you on the right track.
At university I studied Dietetics which involved me learning what foods to include and exclude for different diet types so in the recipe index I have included sections by diet type which includes low carb, dairy free and gluten free. Hopefully this will make it easier to find recipes if you follow any of these diets types.
