Hi and welcome to my little space on the web where I share recipes on a weekly basis. If you've landed on this page then you probably want to know a bit more about the person behind this blog so here goes!
I am a mother of 2 girls and I live in London which is where I was born and raised. At university I studied Dietetics which encouraged me to start experimenting with different foods in my kitchen. During my degree, I was taught about nutrition and how it affects health and also took part in kitchen seminars where we practiced how to prepare quick healthy meals.
I share healthy recipes but also many baking recipes and though most baking recipes are not the healthiest, I believe that everything should be in moderation and because I just love to bake.
I initially started this blog as a way to keep a dairy of my recipes as I would spontaneously develop recipes but then forget some of the ingredients that I used when I went to make it again. Because of this, I began writing down all ingredients and quantities used and after a while, I just had bits of paper with random ingredients laying around the house and sometimes tucked away in draws.
During the 2020 covid lockdown, I had plenty of time on my hands so took the opportunity to start this food blog to share all the recipes I prepare and develop. I share all different types of recipes from breakfast to desserts and I hope you find a recipe that interest you.
