How to Make Beef Broccoli Noodle Stir Fry
1. Place a pot of water on a high heat and bring to a boil. Once the water is boiling, add in the broccoli and allow to boil for 2 minutes. Strain the tenderstem and set aside.
2. If using dried noodles, place a pot of boiling water on a high heat and bring to a boil. Cook or soak for the time on the packaging, usually around 4 minutes. Strain, rinse with cold water and set aside. This is so they don't continue to cook and become mushy. Skip step 2 if using fresh noodle.
3. To a small bowl, add and combine the orange juice, soy sauce and sesame oil then set aside.
4. Season the sliced beef with salt, black pepper, onion powder and garlic powder then place a frying pan on a medium to high heat. Add the oil to the pan and allow to heat. Once the oil is sizzling, add the beef and stir fry for 3 - 4 minutes or until cooking through. Use a slotted spoon to remove the beef and set it aside on a plate.
5. If necessary add more oil then add in the red bell peppers and stir fry for 1 minute. Add in the ginger, garlic and onions and continue to stir fry for 2 minutes. Add in the tenderstem, beef and noodles and stir fry for 30 seconds then add and mix in the sauce. Remove from the heat and serve immediately.
