If you love seafood then you will love this delicious prawn cocktail sandwich recipe. The sandwich is super filling and perfect for a quick lunch. This recipe is simple, easy and doesn’t require many ingredients and most of the ingredients are items that you will probably already have in your cupboard or fridge.

    Prawn Cocktail Sandwich

Whenever I visit M&S, I can never resist the temptation of a prawn sandwich. I love prawns and especially in sandwiches so decided to start making my own at home. This recipe is quick and easy so you can have this sandwich whipped up in no time.

Prawns are very low in calories so they are great for times when you’re keeping an eye on your waistline. Add them to a sandwich and you have a tasty low-calorie meal that will keep you full for a while. If you want to add some healthy fats to the sandwich then you can add some sliced avocados.

    Ingredients for Prawn Cocktail Sandwich

    • Prawns – or shrimp. I use cooked king prawns.
    • Mayonnaise – to make the prawn cocktail. I use reduced fat mayonnaise.
    • Tomato ketchup – for the prawn cocktail sauce.
    • Lemon juice – for the sauce.
    • Seasoning – black pepper, garlic powder and onion powder.
    • Lettuce – you can use iceberg, sweet gem or romaine.
    • Bread – use your favourite bread. I use seeded or granary.
    • Butter – or low-fat vegetable spread.
