Breakfast Sausage Patties

- 500g pork mince 10 - 20% or turkey mince 7%
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion granules or powder
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon ground mace
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp oil for cooking
Add all the ingredients to a bowl then use your hands to mix all the ingredients together. Ensure you combine the ingredients well.
Divide the meat into 6 pieces (roughly 92g each) then shape each piece into balls. Place each ball between 2 pieces of foil or parchment paper and press until the patties are thin and flat.
Place a large non-stick frying pan on a medium heat then lightly grease with a little oil. Once the oil heats, place 1 - 2 patties in the pan and cook for 6 - 8 minutes turning halfway through. They should be golden brown on the outside with no pink inside. Remove and cook the rest in batches.
