Breakfast Sausage Patties

Seasoned breakfast sausages that go perfect with scrambled eggs.

Ingredients

  • 500g pork mince 20% fat
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion granules
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • ½ teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower oil

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, add the pork mince, salt, onion granules, nutmeg, black pepper, sage, white pepper and parsley. Using your hands, mix all the ingredients in the bowl together making sure you combine the ingredients well.
  • Shape the seasoned meat into 8 burger shaped patties and set aside. Line a baking tray with foil and grease with the sunflower oil then preheat the oven to gas mark 5/375oF/190oC.
  • Place the sausage patties onto the greased baking tray and cook for 30 minutes or until cooked throughout, turning halfway through.
  • Once cooked through, remove from the oven and set aside to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
