Coffee Banana Smoothie

This recipe makes two servings of coffee banana smoothie that is perfect to enjoy for breakfast or as a healthy snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoon instant coffee granules
  • 150ml hot water
  • 150ml milk
  • 1 large banana
  • 2 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 2 teaspoon honey

Instructions

  • Add the coffee granules to a mug then pour in 150ml of boiling water from the kettle. Mix until the granules are dissolved then cover the mug and set aside to cool. Once cooled, store the brewed coffee in the fridge until you’re ready to make the coffee banana smoothie.
  • Add the cold black coffee to a blender then add in the milk, banana, peanut butter and honey. Blitz until smooth then serve.
